The vertical pipe at the head of the frame bears the greatest impact, and generally Q235 seamless steel pipe with higher yield strength is selected; The main beam pipes and side pipes of the main load-bearing parts are mostly made of Q195 material Φ 38 or Φ 32 seamless steel pipes. The frame pipes of regular manufacturers are thicker, with the main pipes having a thickness of over 2.0mm. Some small manufacturers aim to reduce costs between 1.4-1.8mm, so don't try to buy cheap products from small manufacturers with poor quality. 3. Welding: Generally, carbon dioxide gas shielded welding is used for welding, and compared to argon arc welding, its characteristics are "low cost and rough surface".
4. Strength: As a load-bearing component, strength must be considered. Currently, legitimate electric vehicle manufacturers have strict testing methods, which simulate road driving, increase the load by about 150 kilograms, and provide a seismic source of 8.0HZ in the front and 8.3HZ in the back. 5. Rust prevention: Like ordinary welded iron parts, rust prevention treatment is required for the surface of the frame. Commonly seen in the market are powder spraying treatment and electrophoretic treatment. The former is relatively simple but prone to paint peeling and poor rust prevention ability, while the latter has a rust prevention effect of at least 5 years, making it the choice for major brand electric vehicles at present. The method of simple identification from the appearance can be achieved by scraping with a knife. The electrophoresis adhesion is good and the bottom layer will not be exposed, while powder spraying will reveal the true color of the steel.
6. Identification: Like cars and motorcycles, there is a set of codes on the frame number, which contains the following important information: the code of the electric vehicle manufacturer (registered in the country), product model, production time, and other key contents, which are important parameters of the vehicle's identity.
